Brazilian Buttock Uplift
Want to get natural looking fuller buttocks? Or perhaps you simply wish to improve your overall appearance? A Brazilian butt lift might be exactly what you need!
Unlike butt implants, this procedure uses your own body fat to reshape the buttocks and enhance their contours. The end result is a youthful, perky backside that looks amazing from every angle.
The Brazilian buttock uplift is growing in popularity. The number of procedures increased by a whopping 26 percent between 2015 and 2016. What makes it so appealing are the lasting results and the dramatic improvements in buttock size and shape.
This cosmetic procedure makes the buttock area look smoother and more toned. It’s ideal for men and women who have a flat bottom or saggy skin under the buttocks. Basically, it reshapes sagging muscles and adds volume in the right spots. Also known as a buttock lift or Brazilian butt lift, this intervention can be performed alone or combined with buttock augmentation or liposuction. It takes 2 to 4 hours and requires general anaesthesia.
The surgeon uses fat grafting to reshape your bottom, which results in a more natural looking appearance. At the same time, excess fat and skin are removed. This makes the Brazilian buttock uplift perfect for those who have lost a lot of weight and have sagging skin or buttock folds.
This procedure can be done in a variety of ways depending on your goals and the amount of tissue to be removed. In general, surgeons make an incision under or above the buttock cheeks to remove excess skin and fat. The incision will run from hip to hip, or end at the waist.
Your surgeon will remove fat from your abs, thighs, arms, or back and place it into the buttocks. The fat removed from these areas is processed and purified before being injected into the bottom. The procedure is done using the VASER Lipo technique, so it’s normal to experience some leaking and discomfort in the first few days after surgery.
Next, the skin is lifted and the incision is stitched in layers. Drains may be inserted to eliminate fluid that accumulates within the incisions. These are usually removed a few days later.
Lastly, the incisions are covered with a dressing. Patients receive two special garments that help control swelling and prevent infection.
The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. The surgeon will also administer local anaesthetic to reduce discomfort and speed up the recovery.
Due to the different stages of this operation it is very hard estimate an exact time, but it generally takes 2 to 3 hours.
Our advice is to take at least one week off work. Depending on your job, you might need up to 2 or 3 weeks.
The final result will be visible after 1 to 2 months. During the recovery period, you need to take extremely good care of your buttocks.
You should go home on the same day.
Your return to the gym should be discussed with your surgeon at the first follow-up appointment. Physical activity may cause a reabsorption of fat from the area, partially spoiling the final result.
