Book Your Consultation
Booking your consultation is very easy.
Using the “Contact Us” section of our website, let us know you are interested in a specific surgery. Our booking team will get in touch with you as soon as possible to book your consultation.
All our consultations take place in Harley Street, London. Please note that we have a 50£ consultation fee.
The consultation consists of several steps.
First, the surgeon will discuss your expectations and will listen to your concerns. It is very important to us that we have a clear understanding of what motivated you to enquire about a specific procedure.
After this first chat, the surgeon will explain how the procedure is carried out, possible complications and will eventually show you any alternative that may better suit you. Feel free to ask all the questions you want; your full understanding of the procedure is critical to making the right choice.
“Cooling off period”
The cooling off period is very important. Before paying your deposit, we want you to think about the surgery. The next day we will contact you and you will be able to pay your deposit and book your surgery.
The date of surgery cannot be less then 15 days from the initial consultation.
Booking your surgery
At this stage, you will be asked some information from our nursing team to finalise the booking.
This includes medical pre-operative screening to ensure you are healthy and physically fit for a surgical procedure. These include a blood test and a swab for MRSA screening, all of which is included in the cost of the surgery.
Day of the surgery
A member of our staff will be present on the day of the surgery to assist you with anything you need.
We will require you to arrive at the clinic 2 hours before the scheduled time of surgery.
You will be taken to your room where the hospital staff will complete your admission. The surgeon and the anaesthetist will come to see you and will answer any questions you may have.
You will be asked to sign your consent form.
You will wake up in PACU (Post Anaesthesia Care Unit) under the care of the recovery nurse who will ensure you are comfortable and without pain or sickness.
The stay in recovery usually is 2 to 4 hours, depending on how fast your body is metabolizing the anaesthetic.
Once all the safety discharge criterias are met, we will book a car to take you home safely.
You will be provided with painkillers and, if requested by the surgeon, antibiotics.
The first follow up will be 7 days after your surgery. At this stage, we will check the wounds and change the dressings, assessing the healing process.
The next appointments will be every 2 to 3 months, to keep track of your healing process.
One of these appointment will be with our surgeon, to address any surgical concern and to assess the results.
If at any time during your recovery you feel the need to be seen by one of our nurses, do not hesitate to contact us to arrange an extra appointment. At Da Vinci Aesthetics, we offer unlimited free nursing follow-up appointments. These are included in the cost of the procedure and therefore we encourage patients to let us know if any issues arises during the recovery period.
You will also be provided with an emergency number to report any issue or to answer any question you may have.
