Booking your consultation
The first step of your journey with us consists of you contacting us using this form, or calling us on (+44) 020 3914 8198. We will ask you for some basic details, such as your contact number and email address. In some cases, we may ask for your weight and height to calculate your BMI. If it’s too high, unfortunately you may not be eligible for your chosen procedure.
If we feel you are likely to be eligible, we will contact the most appropriate surgeon for your procedure and will book you in for a consultation.
All our consultations take place in Harley Street, London.

The consultation consists of several steps.
First, the surgeon will discuss your expectations and will listen to your concerns. It is very important to us that we have a clear understanding of what motivated you to enquire about a specific procedure. This will help us to ensure you are happy with the results.
After the first chat, the surgeon will explain how the procedure is carried out and will eventually show you possible alternatives. Feel free to ask all the questions you want; your full understanding of the procedure is critical to making the right choice. Even though the internet may be a good source of information, your surgeon will focus on you and you only, and will explain what is possible and what is not.
The last step consists of going through any possible complications so that you can sign the consent form.
The nurse following your case will be present on your consultation day to ensure continuity of care and will be your reference for all future steps, including the aftercare.
After the consultation, we will send you an email with an invoice for the final cost of the surgery. We’ll also send you additional information about the clinic in which the surgery will take place and the terms and conditions.
“Cooling off period”
We generally give you 24 hours after the consultation before proceeding any further. It’s very important that you take your time to think about all the information received with a fresh mind.
If the next day you still want to proceed, we will be more than happy to continue the process and book your surgery.
Please bear in mind that we do not admit patients into surgery less than 20 days from their first consultation.
This cooling off period is important not only for you, but for us too. At Da Vinci Aesthetics, our surgeons take pride in the care and assistance they offer patients. We all want to make sure that you reflect on what you have been told during the consultation, and are certain you want to proceed.
Booking your surgery
The next step is booking your surgery. We will go through all the available dates together, choosing the most suitable for you. Once your surgery is planned, you can make your deposit payment to confirm the procedure (10% of the total cost).
Thereafter, we will send you official confirmation with a receipt for your payment and with the contact number of your nurse, your surgeon, and the hospital where the procedure will be performed. Your dedicated nurse will contact you to ensure you are guided properly through surgery preparation. This includes medical pre-operative screening to ensure you are healthy and physically fit for a surgical procedure. Generally, you will have a blood test and a swab for MRSA screening, all of which is included in the cost of your surgery.
Day of the surgery
A member of our staff will always be present on the day of the surgery, so we’ll be there to assist you with anything you need.
We will require you to arrive at the clinic at least 1 to 2 hours before the scheduled time of your surgery. After a short wait in reception, you will be taken to your room where the nurse will complete your admission. The surgeon and the anaesthetist will come to see you and will answer any questions you may have. You will be asked to sign your consent form.
Once you are ready and all the paperwork has been done, you will be transferred to theatre and the procedure will start.
You will wake up in PACU (Post Anaesthesia Care Unit), under the care of the recovery nurse who will ensure you are comfortable and without pain or sickness. Once stabilized, you will be moved to your private room where you can complete your recovery and, when ready, go home. Once all the discharge criteria are met, we will book a car to take you home safely.
You will be provided with painkillers and, if requested by the surgeon, antibiotics. We will send you an aftercare package (via post) with all the information needed for the next weeks and emergency contact numbers.
The first follow-up appointment will be with your nurse, who will change your dressings and assess your wound(s), giving you a course of antibiotics or contacting the surgeon if required. We don’t usually involve the surgeon at this early stage of the healing process.
The second appointment will be with your surgeon and will take place 2 months after your surgery. Your surgeon will assess the healing process and the progress made.
Depending on the procedure performed, the next appointment may be after 6 to 12 months.
If at any time during your recovery you feel the need to be seen by one of our nurses, do not hesitate to contact us to arrange an extra appointment. At Da Vinci Aesthetics, we offer unlimited free follow-up appointments with our nurses. These appointments are included in the cost of the procedure and therefore we encourage patients to let us know if any issues arise during the first year after the procedure.
